Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service and aligns with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta Platform Terms. Violating it is grounds for suspension of your Conwerz account and may cause Meta to suspend or ban your connected Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business Account.
1. Consent & Opt-In
- You must have valid, demonstrable opt-in before sending any marketing or notification template on WhatsApp.
- You must offer an easy opt-out in every marketing message and honour it immediately.
- You must not purchase or scrape phone number lists and import them into Conwerz.
- Consent records (source, timestamp, language) must be retrievable on request.
2. Messaging Windows
- Outside WhatsApp's 24-hour customer service window you may only send pre-approved template messages.
- On Instagram and Messenger, outside the 24-hour standard messaging window you may only send messages permitted by the platform's messaging tags.
- Conwerz will block outbound traffic that appears to violate these windows.
3. Template Content
- Templates must be factual, non-deceptive, and relevant to the opted-in audience.
- Templates must follow Meta's formatting and language-tag rules.
- Do not reuse utility templates for marketing purposes.
4. Prohibited Content & Industries
You may not use Conwerz to send messages that promote, offer, or relate to:
- Adult content, sexual services, or nudity.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapon accessories.
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or prescription medications without a valid licence.
- Tobacco, vaping, or alcohol in jurisdictions where promotion is restricted.
- Gambling, betting, or real-money gaming where not licensed.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or "get rich quick" offers.
- Cryptocurrency investment advice, token sales, or unregulated financial products.
- Counterfeit or unauthorized sale of branded goods.
- Political campaigning or partisan content where restricted by Meta policy.
- Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or content targeting protected groups.
- Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, or any fraud.
5. Technical Misuse
- Do not attempt to bypass Meta rate limits, quality ratings, or enforcement.
- Do not automate account creation, resource enumeration, or webhook spoofing.
- Do not reverse-engineer Conwerz AI models, prompts, or internal APIs.
- Do not probe, scan, or attempt to breach Conwerz infrastructure.
6. Data Handling
- Do not export Meta Platform Data out of Conwerz except via approved, documented features.
- Do not use message content to train third-party AI models.
- Do not request or store sensitive personal data (health, biometric, government ID) without lawful basis and explicit consent.
7. Enforcement
Conwerz monitors for policy violations using aggregate signals (user blocks, Meta quality-rating drops, spam reports). On violation we may warn, throttle, suspend, or terminate an account. Severe or repeated violations result in permanent suspension and may be reported to Meta.
8. Reporting Abuse
Email abuse@conwerz.ai with details (phone number / handle, message, timestamp). We act within 72 hours.
